Pros

The core product is great. Good pay and benefits.

Cons

There is so much disrespect and no accountability. People do not respond to your slacks or email and do not show up to meetings - without responding to the invite or saying something. Most people don't keep their calendars updated, or block their entire calendars. Managers do not enforce better ways of working and let any potential changes fall wayside. Everyone is very protective of their work and how they do things, without any flexibility toward change. There is no structure or organization in any of the work being done, and definitely no cross functional success. From a company that is supposed to be tackling the fragmented organization and creating golden datasets, it's clear that they do not practice what they preach and have no plans to do so. Product and Product Marketing are releasing extremely minimal viable products, without have a clear idea of how these features are going to add value or implement these new features into their existing systems. They clearly don't how their customers are using their product. The cart has been put before the horse on so many occasions with releases, including this giant conceptual launch of Connected Apps Platform without any new features that back up the concept. Feels like an organization full of unqualified, ignorant, nepotistic, arrogant, close-minded people that have never worked anywhere else.

Pros

While there, the people were great for the most part. Loved working with the vast majority of the coworkers, and they really made it worthwhile. The product was brilliant but has since slowed and the direction they're headed is unclear.

Cons

Harassment/misogynistic behavior went acknowledged and unpunished for far too long on the sales side of the business, the pay was anything but competitive, and there were incredible disconnects between sales, ops, and marketing. Complete and frankly astonishing lack of diversity. On a team of 20, there were 3 women, 1 person of color, and, concerningly, this was never addressed.

Great Product, Lack of Trust

Pros

Airtable is an innovative product and the engineer teams were always receptive to new feature ideas, improvements, and making the user experience more seamless.

Cons

The leadership don't trust the employees they hire. The c-suite executives have yet to learn how to get out of the weeds and think high-level. It creates a frustrating culture to attempt to get any work done.
