      The past 2 global heads of people left after 6 months and 2 months respectively - huge red flag right there. In my own team, the manager often passes down the stress from the top, as a result it feels like I'm constantly walking on eggshells every single day at work. There's pressure on the newbie to look all hyped up and enthusiastic, but my advice in case you do join us that you'll have a better chance at surviving if you find the right people to commiserate with. If you look carefully at the recent article on Airwallex blog from the CEO about attracting and retaining talent, 7 out of 10 paragraphs are just money money money, and the remaining 3 are fluff about making an impact - but make no mistake, once you join you're just another dispensable cog who won't get much in terms of recognition or respect. Just hold on to the money and hope that's enough! Don't join this company if you're looking to be treated with a little respect or if you're looking for more than just decent compensation.

      Great PR company

      beautiful offices regardless of hours, higher pay than the industry average friendly and talented co-workers excellent design team, great visual

      Cons

      Can't believe the score is 4.0. The reviews here may come from HRs. The company did excellent work on PR and company images to attract investors. Unfortunately, the product itself is disappointing, a less ideal version of Stripe. The CEO cares most about the visual of the product. The young management usually micro-manages and prefers the hierarchy. The work-life balance is non-existence. 10am-10pm for the Shanghai office. When I was there, some speech from the management is so rude that I cannot believe it.

      Worst company I've ever worked for

      - If you want to work crazy hours and have no life you'll be able to progress your career here

      Cons

      - Micromanagement at its absolute worst. You aren't trusted to make a single decision unless the CEO signs off on it. - It's massively a boys club - Incredibly sexist company - You won't get promoted unless the CEO agrees to it - High-pressure environment for very little reward - Zero work-life balance, the expectations are incredibly unrealistic - Everyone is burnt out - Toxic culture of throwing each other under the bus - Incredibly unprofessional work environment If I could give zero stars I would. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone as a good place to work.
