      Pros

      Akima provided above-average pay and relatively decent benefits, for a contractor. Company stays out of your way and allows you to fully embed with hosting Department/Agency.

      Cons

      Unfortunately, Akima/Tuvli HR systems are fairly weak and unresponsive to employees when issues inevitably arise.

      Pay was high while it lasted

      Cons

      Benefits are poor. Company will throw you under the bus and lay you off the moment a federal government client complains to them. I was hired to ask questions and give feedback to the client - when I did that the client complained and asked for me to be removed from the team. What a joke!
