Pros

Staff care about their jobs, very positive atmosphere, high morale in most departments and units. Amazing hospital system, just don't work in School Health

Cons

School Health management! PTO policy is draconian (1 day off per month, must request 90 days in advance, not allowed off if anybody else in the 200+ person dept has requested that day already), pay is not on par with other departments' MAs

competitive salaries Very generous CME reimbursement as well as educational assistance Benefit packages are good Annual raise has been 2%-3.5% hospital wide

questionable management strategies Not organized HR department is very slow to respond and work on things

Love the patients, coworkers, overall it is a great place to work.

Cons

Right now, parking is a bit difficult, but compared to other hospitals it is normal
