Pros

Nice to work from home

Cons

I’m sad that the team is not appreciated by the hospital and departments that we take the calls for. The supervisors work harder than upper leaders like managers and it’s obvious that they are Stretched very thin. I have worked an environment were the supervisors worked hard and are too tired to attend to their team. Upper management is very lazy and never at work. I’m surprised that my supervisor is still with the company since there has been a lot of change. The seniors are rude and get smart with you, so you don’t want to ask questions. I’d rather just get an error than ask them for help, and the trainers do not know much about questions and their supervisor is always talking and acting inappropriate. I think the vaccine mandate should not have been for the call center since we work from home. This place has changed in the 8 months I have been here. Just working thru winter months then I’m out

Pros

Knowing you are making a difference in the lives of children.

Cons

Be ready to be significantly underpaid and overworked. Did not feel valued or appreciated in my job. If you made a mistake, it was not welcomed as an opportunity to grow, but instead you would be severely micromanaged and made to feel incompetent in your job (even though I had a positive performance review prior). Manager used fear as a tactic to motivate team. The running “joke” was who would get fired today based on manager’s mood. Did not feel a strong sense of teamwork or collaboration. Felt teammates were pitted against each other to create toxic competition. Everyone knew who was the manager’s “favorites” and if you weren’t one of them, you received unfair treatment or were excluded from opportunities. Love the diversity and inclusion initiatives but feel there is a very long way to go, especially with middle management. Overall, I would not recommend ACH as an employer.

We value every employee’s input, which is why we provide multiple avenues for them to express their concerns. Speaking with their manager, contacting their area’s designated HR representative and calling our confidential compliance hotline are just some of the options available. We want to be an organization employees embrace and recommend to others, which is why we encourage employees to be proactive in engaging us when they have concerns. We’re always looking to be better, and we want employees to let us know where we can improve.

Pros

It great working with kids. Room with grow.

Cons

Pay is far below par. Even to pick up “bonus”. The health benefits are no longer good. HR doesn’t address if here is a problem, they try to sweep it under the rug. Staff would actually stay if these issues were fixed!
