Pros

Meeting awesome new people all over the country who have very interesting backgrounds and life experiences. Working with those same amazing folk somewhere else in the country on a different deployment is something special. Always a surprise! The hours are long and extended time away from home is expected, so your coworkers become family. Most are very willing to share their knowledge, food, room to sleep in, clothes off their back etc. One can learn A LOT in a short period of time if you have the drive and work ethic needed to survive in this industry. Ask questions! Pay is great and always on time if you follow simple instructions. No day is ever the same. Huge pro in my book. Management works harder & longer hours than thought to be humanly possible yet continue to give their best every.single.day. They are people with personal lives and family too. It's interesting to see how quickly others forget this and take it for granted. Everybody has the same chance for success. The old saying that hard work pays off could not be more accurate, especially working field claims. Getting paid to learn & help others during a time of need is very fulfilling. With that being said, this is not a charity or a vacation for a job. If you're honest and doing your best, it does not go unnoticed. Time management and adaptability can always improve. It's on you to continue to grow and make those changes. Love reflecting on how much I've grown after each deployment.

Cons

Having floaters (those who don't take the job seriously and/or not actually work the time they report to HR/Payroll) stay around way longer than most other jobs would allow. Only so much Alacrity can do about this though. I see it as job security, not a con. Some of the things that people think they can get away with blows my mind. Always a few big egos to deal with at times but that's standard for any profession.

Pros

The pay is pretty good. You get time and a half for overtime. They don't make it too difficult to get hired.

Cons

They throw you on the phones with no training. They tell you that you have mandatory overtime last minute. They terminated everyone after 8 days, no warning.

Pros

The he people that call themselves "WORLEY", are nothing short of amazing. The pay was great, the training was top notch. As a new adjuster and being 1000 miles away from home on my first assignment, I couldn't have had a better experience! Right back to work after my first deployment. Their commitment to me with their training program will make them my first priority when work is available. The environment they created for all of us was equally as great! A+ in my book

Cons

updating employee portal with up to date information.. That's all I have
