Pros

the only good reason to work here is if no one else will hire you if you don't care about getting paid much and you just want expensive insurance they have some

Cons

upper management is dishonest and greedy onsite managers are incompetent they threaten to ruin your career if you leave you buy your benefits then they say the benefits make up for low pay

At Worley we strive to provide opportunities for employees at every level within the organization. We offer employees multiple options for Health Care, access to Vision, Dental, Long and Short term Disability; in addition to a competitive salary. To offset the initial cost of the new ACA complaint benefit package, we provided each employee in Atlanta a $2 hr raise. This is in addition to the merit increases (avg. $3 per person) since the inception of the project in February 2014. Our approach is not based on greed; it is based on steady growth and development. Competitors in this market are offering higher wages with no or minimal benefits packages. We have chosen a more comprehensive approach. I am always willing to listen to concerns from our employees and willing to work together to find solutions to benefit the company, as a whole. Pros

Compensation is the only thing that makes this job worth it. You get what you put into it. If you have a strong work ethic, you will like this job. For the most part, Worley's management truly cares about their employees. Worley provides a large amount of training and helps prepare you as much as possible for the job.

Cons

If you want to be successful, be prepared to travel 9-10 months a year. You never know where you will be going until 1-2 days before you are expected to leave. There is NO work-life balance. Workload of at least 60 hours a week is expected if you want to be successful. Most days you will start at 6-7am and still have a computer in your lap at midnight. No days off.

Pros

The money, friendships, and travel. The experiences gained while working around the country and with all different kinds was great. The managers are always willing to help.

Cons

The work is not always steady. If your not one of the "good ole boys" your likely to get less work. If you have a family the travel and away time from home would be very tough.
