Pros

Dog Friendly Stocked Kitchen - like someone else said, "dorm quality" but it's still free food and drinks Benefits are pretty good Flexible schedule

Cons

Managers (with few exceptions) are all talk with no follow through. Culture is turning toxic as the CEO change starts to set in. Direction is not clear. Almost all sr. management has 2 or more other jobs or pet projects

Pros

I have been working at this company for a while now and I must say that it has been an amazing experience. The compensation is very competitive and the benefits are great. My coworkers are awesome and make coming to work every day a pleasure. The location is also very nice and the modern offices are a plus. I feel like the work I do is meaningful and I'm grateful to get recognition for being able to utilize my expertise everyday. The onboarding experience was the best I have ever had. I got to spend one-on-one time with everyone on the leadership team, which made me feel valued and welcomed. The team is very supportive and always willing to help. Overall, I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a great work environment, competitive compensation, and awesome coworkers. The onboarding experience alone is worth it!

Cons

While fully remote positions are available at this company, they are not offered for every role. However, I don't see this as a negative aspect. My role is hybrid, which allows me to work remotely when needed. I actually enjoy coming into the office and being around my coworkers, and the weekly free food is a nice bonus. Moreover, the company is very flexible and accommodating, and the leadership team values work-life balance.

Product Instability is Killing this Company

Pros

- Smart, helpful coworkers - Relaxed atmosphere and casual attire is great - Used to have a decent snack kitchen, but then COVID killed that of course. I really miss the cereal and Friday bagels. - Management worked hard to ensure no layoffs during the quarantine, which has been appreciated by everyone - Some managers work very hard to ensure the success of their employees - The software is friendly and powerful for the most part - New office space will be welcome if we ever see it. The old one was pretty junky and dirty. - Benefits are fair. - Pay is average or below, depending on the position. Raises are predictable at the standard 3% to 4% range every year.

Cons

- The main Con right now is that the last 6 months have been pretty awful at SurveyGizmo. The constant outages, downtime, lack of major development releases on outstanding defects, and system *glitches* is making the customer base wonder why they are spending so much and getting so little. - There is nothing to look forward to here at SG. - There are no opportunities for advancement, which is not uncommon in small companies. C-level staff is always brought in from outside of the company
