Pros
I worked for the company for more than a year, and I truly enjoyed my experience in the beginning. Initially, the support was exceptional, and morale was high. The company's mission is truly inspiring, and the benefits offered are good.
Cons
While there was a lot of discussion about diversity, inclusion, and 'care actions,' as well as training on effective communication and feedback at all levels, the reality was different. Providing upward feedback often led to it being perceived as disrespectful, and empathy from managers was noticeably absent – an expectation that seemed to apply only to employees. If you encountered issues with your supervisor, termination without clear justification was a common outcome. When seeking explanations, management tended to avoid addressing these issues directly. HR support felt lacking. The company underwent frequent changes, often accompanied by misinformation. Instances of favoritism were not uncommon. The flexibility initially promised became non-existent. While professional development was a recurring topic, it often appeared as mere talk without substantial follow-through. The existence of employee resource groups offered the promise of learning opportunities and community bonding, but the encouragement to participate did not consistently translate into permission to attend these meetings. Terminations seemed to lack clear reasoning, potentially serving as a means to lay off employees without providing severance, despite assurances of job security within the company.
