Pros

Strong technical talent in Engineering an Operations Security and compliance heavy environment. You will learn a lot. (Engineering + Ops) New technology stack is state of the art (MicroServices/K8s/GCP/CICD) Leadership is solid (COO is fantastic). I've witnessed them make time to listen to employees and respond to requests when the employees reach out. Downtown work environment, if that's your thing.

Cons

Turbulent industry with a "feast or famine" nature. Legacy code and infrastructure are difficult to maintain and will cost a lot of effort to modernize. It's also the "revenue code", for now. Downtown work environment, if that's not your thing.

Pros

Working downtown is awesome. The facilities have been updated and both locations are outfitted with standing desks and food and drinks. Pay isn't bad. Benefits are paid for and you get a parking spot downtown for really cheap.

Cons

If I hadn't left I would have been laid off. The management is incompetent all the way up the chain and business decisions are not made appropriately. Two rounds of layoffs and counting, and I wasn't even a temp employee. I'm glad I got out when I did. It wasn't all bad, but I never intended to stay. You could tell from day 1 that making money was all they were truly interested in.

Pros

AllClear is always going through change. There are ups and downs and no two days are alike. I enjoy the work that I do and I feel like I'm making a difference. It was only after I had been employed there for a while that I saw the true value that AllClear provides. Although there are tough times, I truly believe the upper management are doing what they can to run a successful company and live the values. Work life balance is tough, but the benefits of working there are great. The culture is my favorite aspect, the people make this job worth it. Integrity is the most important value, and needs to be the most apparent value to see in every day work. Topgrading interviews are an intense multi-step process, but it provides a lot of additional information that a purely technical interview couldn't accomplish. It gives insight to different competencies (personal/interpersonal/management/work style/etc) and provides a well rounded picture to the interview panel. Employer contribution to HSA plan is generous, and employee-only benefits are currently free. It is a very collaborative environment

Unnecessary spending Keeping under performers around significantly longer than what is reasonable Work/life balance
