Pros

• There is significance in our success – breach response should be part of every company BCP. • Company Culture is a priority. • High performing teams. • Large investment in hiring and onboarding. • I respect and appreciate the people I work with. • GDPR will take some getting used to – we have a huge opportunity to help. • Agile

Cons

• Due to the fast growth – unfortunately not all hires work out. • Onboarding and acclimating to the business/the position is a bit clunky and could be streamlined.

Pros

AllClear ID has a beautiful downtown location, terrific benefits, paid parking, and good compensation. They work hard to promote talent within the company and their level of care for each employee extends far beyond the typical corporate job. Personally, I have always felt like a family member not an employee. I am consistently impressed with the dedication, hard work, and vision that I see from various teams throughout the organization. They expect an honest days work and will reward good employees handsomely. Long days and hard weeks are often rewarded with fun happy hours and bonuses!

Cons

They need a more effective on boarding and training process for new employees. Employees need more structured guidance and a formal review process to learn strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.

Pros

AllClear ID has a lot of potential. They hire many smart and wonderful people. There are a lot of Go-Getters. The medical benefits are great - loved the HSA contribution perk. Great snacks and beverages, beautiful new facility, opportunity to meet so many cool diverse people from different places and backgrounds. I have made many friends and grew so much in my two years there. If you want to learn about security and data breaches, this is a great opportunity.

Cons

The company has been going through a roller coaster of changes. It was a late start-up that grew over four times its size within a year and a half. There have been issues with long-time Managers being promoted who many felt were not qualified to be in a leadership role. There is a ton of work - this company will continuously keep you busy. It can lead to burn-out fast if the culture doesn't change. I know meetings are important, but there are a ton of them! So many people are working late and long days because they are in meetings all day and still need to meet their objectives. They could improve on the PTO - it's not competitive with the larger tech companies in Austin. Flexibility is an issue in many departments - no work from home opportunities unless you are on the software development team. Traffic and commute can be long and grueling - but that is everywhere in Austin.
