Pros

You get to fly to Bozeman MT for free if there is an empty seat and the plane is on time. Do not tell any passengers you are an employee if you know what is good for you.

Cons

Major disfunction at all levels of the company. No transparency at all. They treat the flight attendants and pilots like garbage that they throw out daily. Flight Attendants and Pilots are going to strike this year to try and get basic benefits like Vacation during your first year. BEWARE - THEY DO NOT TELL YOU THAT THEY DO NOT GIVE RAISES EVER. IF YOU GET OFFERED A JOB ASK ABOUT RAISES THEY DO NOT GIVE THEM. I and a fellow employees have been here for 5 years and never got a raise. They tell you you can earn a bonus but it is only $300. Health insurance is horrible - does not cover anything. There is NO job security and they told me that during my review. As a full time employee I take direction from both the CIO and his girlfriend (A CONTRACTOR )and it is seldom the same direction. Go to Facebook and read the customer reviews if you don't believe me. Trust me this place is a mad house!

Pros

One of the biggest pros is being home every night and if you really value that and meeting great people it's fantastic . I absolutely love the other flight attendants and pilots I work with.

Cons

I don't genuinely believe that the company cares for flight attendants. I personally feel as though we are treated like we are expendable and our work rules are more so a guideline seeing as no one is held accountable to make sure they're followed. Pay is also lower compared to other low cost carriers.

Pros

I love that I am home every night. I am Oakland based so seniority there is easily achieved. Love most of my co workers. First year pay jump is the biggest in the industry. Mostly quick turns. Good experience for first time Flight Attendants.

Cons

If you are delayed, you are getting paid $1/hr. CEO Maury Gallegher doesn't value his Flight Attendants and does not want us there more than 5 years. He doesn't agree being a flight attendant is a career. Although being home every night is sweet, it costs me more money especially the hour and 20 min. commute I do one way... without traffic.. can't afford to live in the Bay Area. My days are long (anywhere from 12-18 hours long on average... Plus only getting your regular pay at 4-8 of those hours) If you are delayed, you're spending money on food, drinks etc. but only getting paid that $1/hr on the ground, so loosing money. Pay and benefits are below industry standards and CEO Maury will fight till the end. Our first union contract was an insult and only 90 pages of vague information.
