Pros

You learn how to deal with tough calls, but seriously, I'd tell anyone to beware and probably avoid this place.

Cons

I got excited during the interview, but once I started, it was a completely different story. Most of the calls are frustrating and honestly feel wrong, trying to convince people of things they don't really need. The turnover is insane, and you quickly see why so many people leave after a few weeks. Base pay is okay, but making any commission is tough unless you're really aggressive, which makes the job feel exhausting. Training mostly pushes you to refer friends before you even understand the work, which is a huge warning sign. Management barely checks in, and the environment is high-pressure with almost no support.

All of the sales calls at Alleviate are fully compliant with regulatory rules and guidance. Many of our advisors have built long-term careers at Alleviate and have contributed to a stable and experienced team. The sales team is highly motivated and consistently exceeds goals. While we appreciate referrals, they are always voluntary. Alleviate takes leadership concerns seriously and addresses them promptly when needed. We appreciate your feedback.

Worth it if you can make commission

Pros

The management team is great and transparent. The energy on the floor is truly focused on helping the clients, and everyone is always welling to help each other out.

Cons

It can be difficult to make commission and the base pay is low. The job itself is mentally taxing, and your activity is monitored minute by minute.

Pros

There is nothing worth mentioning except learning what kind of company to avoid in the future.

Cons

-The workplace is filled with hostility and tension that drains every ounce of motivation. -Leadership is aggressive, unreasonable, and quick to lash out over the smallest issues. -Verbal abuse is common, leaving employees feeling humiliated and powerless. -The culture is built on fear instead of support, making every day feel like a battle to survive. -There is no guidance, no empathy, no sense of teamwork - just anger and intimidation.

We appreciate the opportunity to respond and clarify. While we don’t have Debt Collector roles here, we’re proud of the positive culture we’ve worked hard to build. A culture reflected in the fact that many of our team members have been with us for years, consistently meeting and exceeding their goals. To keep this spirit alive, our Employee Appreciation Committee plays a vital role in fostering positivity, strengthening connections, and celebrating the achievements that make our team exceptional. We also take concerns about leadership seriously and act promptly when issues are raised. Every role comes with its own expectations, and we’re truly sorry if your experience didn’t align with yours.
