Pros

Decent health insurance for a single person that has a low deductible.

Cons

Allina has decided to decrease PTO accrual for employees that have been employed with them for over a certain amount of years. If you are anything besides an RN, do not expect ANYTHING over a 3% raise, if they'll even give you that (employees that have worked here for 20 plus years dont even get 3%). They no longer will allow you to roll over any end of year PTO after a certain number. They only match 2% of your 401k. Do not expect any bonuses or employee appreciation incentives besides a pizza party or a plant. The turnover rate is unreal which leaves you to do 3 peoples jobs and continue to stay under appreciated. AGAIN, if you are anything but an RN, do NOT expect any sort of advancement opportunities specifically in the business office aspect of Allina. You're a scheduler? Well, guess what? You'll always be a scheduler.

Pros

Great coworkers and innovative medical technology.

Cons

Executive management does NOT care about the employees. They continually want employees to work more, longer hours, instead of hiring adequate staff. Allina also would rather hire temporary staff through agencies than pay their employees bonuses when they do pick up extra shifts.

Pros

0 They have Allina partners care

Cons

I worked same place for 3 months shy of 38 years. Rarely called in sick, left with over 5 months sick time that I won’t get paid for. I received my 35 yr pin in the mail 1 day before I retired, 3 yrs late!!! The ceo can get their million dollar bonus but won’t hire the appropriate staff to take care of our patients! I was also a union member which I received at 35 yrs a dinner, pin and plaque. Nothing from Allina.
