      Hospital With conflicts of Trying to stay open due to costs

      Pros

      PPE is available, floor staff can be great, and Mercy is a good learning hospital because it has higher acuity than other hospitals near here. Managers in my experience have been nice. In performance evaluations, they recognize good work.

      Cons

      Allina is going broke and cuts every thing they can to try to cut costs. Seems like the money is more important than their staff and their patients. If there is a patient safety measure being worked on it is because it impacts their financial standing. They will run you ragged.

      Good benefits that i took for granted at the time.

      Cons

      Management doesn't care about the safety of staff and patients. The higher ups are only concerned with pleasing the even higher ups.

      Utmost dedication by team members to patients. Do amazing work. Great team members.

      Cons

      Middle management struggles to connect upper management's vision to the ones that do the work. Upper management don't appreciate the work the courage kenny institute does to the health of the people with disability population in the twin cities. Pay is not great.
