Pros

Good pay and benefits are nice

Cons

Management likes to micromanage the absolute hell out of you to the point where they’re asking why you’re away while you use the bathroom. Be ready to feel like you’re in 3rd grade again being treated like a child who cannot make big grown up decisions about how you spend your time offline. Need a drink of water? Better ask management if they’ll ALLOW you to step away for a drink. You’re just a number here, however; you’re the least important number in the company. You see, they only care about call volume, meeting SLA, and having enough people to fill up their depressing office. Get ready to also not have any working systems, you will experience technical issues left and right but you still need to meet your metrics and be a good little customer service rep. Even if you’re a top performer and do everything right, you’re still getting screwed over. I don’t recommend this job to anyone, but if you’re okay with being treated like a child and ignore your mental health, it’s great pay.

Diversity is just a cover

Pros

The benefits they offer are good.

Cons

I was in charge with DEI in my division among my many other responsibilities here with the many years I worked here. I was told 1 week before I was let go that someone who is WHITE "me" shouldn't be leading diversity and it should be someone of color. 1 week later I was told I was being let go without a reason and my work was being given to other people. Then after I left someone of diversity was in my old position with no experience. Ally tried to get me to sign a mountain of paperwork and a very lucrative severance agreement to get me to shut up and not sue them. I declined the severance agreement as I saved everything and communication from my time there. Now working with my attorneys and EEOC on the best course of action going forward.

Pros

The benefits, erg's, engagement etc are all great on paper.

Cons

The culture is fake, they are not trying to be a good employer, they are only increasing their marketing efforts. HR put out a communication about inclusivity for all abilities and how great they are for supporting disabled employees. This is all a lie to try and win employee awards. I have been working for the past year and a half submitting certified doctors' recommendations for workplace accommodations that would have no impact on my job. I have professionally followed up with HR and my Leadership. Immediately on submitting an accommodation request, I was treated like a troublemaker and it was insinuated I was lying. Ally has offered me no support in navigating their workplace with health issues and disabilities. This company is not disability friendly at all. I have so much paper work on the file and my department lead won't even let me work at home intermittently when I am having a bad health day. This is not inclusive.
