Potential But Lack Of Clear Leadership

Pros

Great company if you work in certain departments. Salaries are competitive as are benefits and good working conditions in nice buildings Some of the managers are very competent, some are not.

Cons

New CEO is all over the place. Have heard multiple stories of projects that are chaotic and badly run when he is involved. Does not respect other people's time and seems insecure and irresponsible. Not a step up from the former CEO. A lot of employees have left the company since he started and the ones that are left are unsure of the company's future under his supposed leadership.

The people are very hard working and care about patients and making Alphatec profitable. Good work environment until now, Sailor CEO really knew the importance of having happy employees and they loved him for that, could have been more business like but was retiring so how can you blame him, plus he was fun which makes people want to work hard rather than feeling like they have to work hard. High technology, the new products are awesome, have excellent potential to beat competition at all levels, customers love the new products because they make the customers job easier. Great investment potential if Alphatec is in for the long haul producing high quality products that are well tested and thought out.

Cons

New CEO is no good. Bad fit for this company and seems to have checkered past. Does not seem to respect the employees. Says he cares but actions speak louder than words. Operations has a ton of potential but are nothing more than yes men. Some managers are tallented but there seems to be no substance in the leadership. They seem to spend their time in CYA mode and making room for even more inexperienced managers whom are their friends.
