Pros

Excellent Management Wonderful co-workers Great place to work I know there are reviews for this company that are negative, but a lot of these sound like disgruntled former employees. The employee talking about the immature manager, I work in that store. The store manager is amazing and the employee was upset because we called her with more than enough time to get to work and she quit over the phone after having only worked for us a week. The store manager called her about her paycheck and she didn't respond. She could have come to the store at any point and would have received her paycheck. She's the one that's acting immaturely.

Cons

Former employees who lack maturity and who don't know how to deal with an issue like an adult. Don't make others look bad because of your immaturity.

Pros

I love my job. I love being able to inspire the wonderful, beautiful women I work with on a daily basis. When my store closed down, I was absolutely honored that I got a call to come back to the new store they were building. That made me feel valued as an employee. I love encouraging women with the fashion that I pick out for them and making their days better with our Altar'd State values and our promise to Stand Out. For Good. Aaron Walters is the MOST caring CEO I have ever worked for. He is constantly rewarding us with incentives to do better and continue working hard

Cons

I've loved my job here and was promised the opportunity for growth. However, continuously my growth in the company feels neglected. I really want the chance to become an assistant Manager and was promised that my current manager would help me so that I can be ready when the time comes, yet I'm always asked "if you don't get it, will you leave?" I just want the chance to grow because I LOVE this company and I know the brand and I can do it.

There is a reason the score is so low

Pros

Wonderful co workers, beautiful (but cheap) product and stores, giving back to your community with paid volunteer work, discount and

Cons

This is not typical retail work. They keep managers at a salary pay so when you are forced to work over 40, which you will, they don't have to pay you more. It doesn't seem like a big deal until you consistently work 50-60 hours are make what a key holder makes. This company is unwilling to change or listen. Negative feedback given to help store processes will just be seen as laziness even if you are just trying to help. People are also constantly leaving at every level because they can no longer take the disorganized and toxic environment that this company creates.
