Pros

No pros at all but there is a 20 word minimum. I absolutely cannot think of one single good thing.

Cons

Zero work life balance. Terrible pay compared to other brands. If a company really cared about giving back they would not sell cheaply made over priced clothing made in sweat shops. The whole giving back thing is just a way of marketing to Christians.

Pros

They donate money to local nonprofit organizations once a week. Volunteer hours are counted as time on the job.

Cons

Absolutely NO WORK/LIFE Balance!! Please believe every review listed here. It's amazing how a company that was supposedly created with God in mind is 10x worse than secular clothing companies. This company is 100% sales driven....No consideration for it's employees or the families they support...And the turnover rate for Managers is the highest I've ever seen in my years of retail ( 12 years). It's extremely unorganized with zero structure. By far the worst company I've ever been involved with.

Altar'd State Response

Thank you for your recent review! We appreciate your concerns and take them seriously. Having worked at Altar'd State, you are aware of the Company's efforts to donate thousands of hours to local communities and the on-going construction of five elementary schools in impoverished communities. Donating 1% of sales and 10% proceeds on Mission Mondays to local organizations reflects our commitment to people and not simply sales. We can only accomplish these "give back" efforts by delivering an exceptional guest experience by our 1,200 associates. Having 2 DMs per District is unprecedented in retail and our commitment to both our associate and guests. We appreciate your review and wish you much success in the future. Have a great day!!
