Pros

There are none. You make so little pay at this job you can’t even afford the damn clothes even with the discount.

Cons

-Horrible management -CEO I s a fraud -overpriced cheaply made clothes -the hours were awful I’ve had so many breakdowns at this damn job it’s unbelievable. You will literally feel like a slave working this job and it doesn’t help that it has southern roots.

The truth from the inside

Pros

The amount of people you, as an individual, can make smile is overwhelmingly amazing. Volunteering time and giving to others is life changing.

Cons

ZERO work life balance. All management levels are on a different page. The Christian views are not so Christian. You will work all hours of the day and through the night into the early morning. Management belittles you and you work under constant fear. Everything is a tax write off that is made to be an act of kindness or paying it forward and even worse it's exemplified as Christianity. You're given vacation time and told when you will take it and it's out unheard of to have a planned and approved vacation denied. The pay is not competitive, whatsoever. This company has no true morals or values they stand behind, it's all money and greed. The turnover rate should speak for itself. There is no such thing as an "off day". You will be called, emailed, texted and even told via voicemail that it's your business and you need to figure it out.

Thank you for your submission. We unfortunately couldn't disagree more with your review. When you speak about the schools we've built, health centers, adoption of children in Peru and the thousands of people we support and serve both locally and globally, your comment regarding Christianity and tax write offs is a sad commentary on what you took away from your time at Altar'd State. As a recently named Great Place to Work, our associates have also confirmed our commitment to them with competitive pay, bonus plans, training and development programs, paid time off, 30 day sabbaticals, Student Loan repayment program, and countless career opportunities. Our culture requires someone who is selfless and wants to stand out for good.. We wish you every success in 2019 and hope that you find a place and home that brings you peace and fulfillment. https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20190110005674/en/Altar’d-State-Certified-Great-Workplace-Great-Place

Pros

Benefits, Employee Duscounts during Semi-Annual Sale, customer connections

Cons

You work 40-50 hours a week. You’re only paid for 40 hours. Company is completely unorganized on the back end.
