      Pros

      Altec has a value system that shows what is important to them and they stick by it: Customer first, Enjoyment of work, Family, Financial stability, Integrity, People are our greatest strength, Quality, Spiritual development, and Teamwork.

      Cons

      A lot of focus on employees who have been here for a long period of time. This causes the older employees to think that Altec owes them something. Many time you can find newer hourly employees that have a higher level of performace then older hourly employees.

      Pros

      I had a great boss. He was very responsive to work I did for him. There are great people who have worked many years with Altec and great family people there too. The benefits are hands down the best. Excellent health, 401k, and dental.

      Cons

      On the other side there were a few unprofessional people who worked in my department and others as well. There were several times where I was condemned in front of others for my work. Management is very biased in who gets promoted. I watched a manager be promoted after shutting down two departments.
