Pros

Pay is good, coworkers were good people

Cons

Very crooked place in terms of how they treat employees. If you're legitimately injured, you're fired because that would mess up their precious hours without time lost record. If you use medical leave, they will find a way to terminate you. If you're a welder, you can get away with murder though. And managers show favoritism.

Great benefits -including but not limited to Health, Dental, Vision. FSA, Wellness Program, 401k w/match, Employee Assistance Plan, Phone discount, 10 Paid Holidays. Paid Vacation/Sick time, Short Term Disability. Very Safety and Environmentally proactive.

Cons

Limited advancement opportunities for non-engineers. Moving in the right direction though. Saw a little disconnect by some management with policy/rules/regulations in favor of production.

Pros

Pay was average. Health insurance was the best around. Most people were great to work with, still friends with some.

Cons

RCI (Rapid Continuous Improvement) projects are a joke. You are forced to have one per week. Every department is required to have one per month with many of them related on the same things. They are mostly a waste of time. Overinflated savings are a big problem. Upper Management are mostly out of touch. They are stuck in the "old" style of management by brute force. Plant management is severely under qualified for their position. They micromanage every little thing. They have a "get something done now" attitude instead of figuring out the right thing to do. The safety culture is one of how do I get out of this instead of how do I do the right thing. This is company wide. Work/Life Balance is terrible. Shop employees and engineers have no balance. 60+ hours a week for engineers is expected.
