Great product/solution. Compensation % was good. Remote/Hybrid work. Lot's of opportunity to sell big deals.

Cons

Woke, hollow, meaningless language used throughout senior leadership. Head of Americas Sales loves to talk constantly about his care and concern but actions do not reflect any care or concern beyond what is useful for a social media post. Alteryx over hired and then canned a group of 50+ sellers, at least 20 of which were on track for exceeding quota. Whoops. All while referring to employees as "family" which was sickening even before they laid off the entire enterprise team. There must be some serious financial problems at hand in order to justify cutting this many people that you hired and heavily invested in less than 8 months prior.

Look for fair compensation relative to skill set and isolated pockets of cultural sincerity.

Cons

Company attempted M&A approach to desktop product evolution with Trifacata acquisition then failed to integrate the features into a true solution. Sales overlays and circuitous deal approvals process put more nails in the coffin lid. Outdated notions of pricing models aren't helping either. The company is now floundering on itself with erratic finger-pointing and cost-cutting actions that address symptoms while ignoring the cause. Cloud story is weak and executive leadership is too in love with their own backstory to evolve. Top talent on product and service side has already left. AYX stock is hovering at a 3-year low with more cost-cutting bandages planned to slow the bleeding.

Some of the engineers are truly talented Flexible schedule as long as you get your job done Exciting product

Cons

Terrible planning and lack of communication among upper managers. No time for career growth. Employees are afraid of speaking up, because we have seen so many people (awesome ones) got laid off. Favoritism exists in the leadership.
