Pros

Amazon is an astronomically large company with many business units and organizations. You can have a lifetime career here and move between organizations and still feel like you are working in a new company. There are a lot of growth opportunities also.

Cons

Sometimes pressure is too high meaning that employees scramble to understand priorities. Compensation sometimes lacks behind competitors.
