Pros

Great pay and benefits. Lots of opportunity to be creative. If you need time off it's easy to trade shifts with others.

Cons

Uniforms were not as nice as flight crew's.Could be more professional toward employees at the airport. Could use better communication between ground crew and agents.

Pros

Great travel benefits. Good health benefits. People there are safety conscious and well-trained. Diverting work environment-not like going to the same office everyday. Great discounts at other travel industry companies-cars, hotels, etc.

Cons

Labor-management relations have never been smooth. The airline is looking for any possible way to cut costs in a tough economic environment. Less staffing on planes, longer hours, less time off. AA hasn't hired flight attendants in ten years.
