Pros

Full remote is a plus Some friendly co-workers Schedule Pay ok but depends on benefits elected. If looking for temporary job

Cons

-Health benefits little to no contribution for dependents. -Overstaff and ask employees to take voluntary time off to help with turn over rate. -Incomplete, inefficient claims management system have to use 2 systems almost a year now. -Over complicated claims adjudication process. Procedures written not taking into account time management affecting metrics on over repetitive processes. -Be willing to work on breaks or off hours to stay on track of metrics. -Management changed work procedure to get work load done on a broken claims system so you have to cheat the system or work off hours, if not you will eventually get a written up to eventual terminate plan. -Upper Management is reactive not proactive and not accountable, with the blame rolls down hill mentality. -Waiting to get terminated for not cheating procedures or not following procedures and not working off hours to keep up with workload. -Currently adjusters set up to fail metrics depending on work ethics. -I have been personally advised it is impossible to keep up with workload unless procedures are (not) followed and have to make the decision to do what I have to do or option to leave the company. -Mass hire and then 6 months later mass layoff right after Christmas means very poor management possibly due to clients leaving to go to another administrator.

Pros

Benefits Direct Team Leads Pay

Cons

Upper management over the Team Leads. Continually making uneeded changes. Tell you to keep trying for higher positions then give them to people who have been there for less time even when you're the one answering all the questions you can. Ask for volunteers for projects no additional pay and mentioning how you go above an beyond and then they cut you right after Christmas after saying you don't have to worry about lay offs.

Pros

Very generous with time off. Good health insurance to choose from. When hired, was told I would receive $50 per month in a "Thrive" account. It is actually $25, but appreciated. Companywide motivation to collaborate internally. Performance based bonuses.

Cons

Unattainable goals. Mathematically, call in/out requirements on a daily basis can not be met within the allotted 8hr time frame. Digital baby sitter (Calabrio) best suited for a unionized workforce performing mindless redundant tasks (think sorting mail) that watches your actions and reports them to Work Force Management that will instantly alert superiors that you are "out of compliance." An example is taking an unscheduled bathroom break or remaining on a call into the time frame that you are scheduled to be on a break/lunch. The requirement to work off of the clock. You MUST log into your queues at your scheduled worktime to the 1,0000th of a second, but the process to do this takes at least 5 minutes for someone that is "seasoned" or knows the process to the second. 8 password protected interfaces, three requiring two step authentication via text to your personal cell phone. (no compensation) Stringent isp. performance requirements that your employment hinges on, but no compensation there either. Nepotism runs rampant in management, from the very top (TT) down.
