Fully remote, flexible, good collegues who care

Cons

Terrible toxic culture, poor leadership with a bullying mentality. Focused on politics and money not the mission. Same few people without any experience making decisions. Paying consultants astronomical amounts to drive their own business not the mission. No room for growth and no recognition just always asking for more.

Great people but no path to promotion

Pros

Fully remote work. Great people to work with. The teams are dedicated towards the cause and you feel good working there, knowing you're making a difference. Lots of benefits since pay is not the best.

Cons

No path towards promotion. I asked repeatedly for 2 years on how I could get promoted since I was already doing the work of a senior manager without the title, but never got the training or the chance to get to the next level. Pay is also not at market rate - severely underpaid
