American Electric Power is unfortunately no longer the company it used to be only a handful of years ago. I've seen drastic changes that always impact the common worker negatively in order to boost shareholder value. We've had huge turnover in recent years and incompetent leadership. Things have not changed and its always at the expense of the people at the bottom. Leadership has and continues to fail. We are overworked, underpaid, and underappreciated. People are flying for the exit now, I would suggest you look elsewhere before considering employment at AEP. It's the unspoken thing at the office that many are currently looking to leave. Good luck.
