Pros

None that I can even drum up.

Cons

No room for growth, managers are brainwashed to all say and do the exact same things like robots. Rule with a dictatorship of upper management that have all carried the bag but still don't have a clue. Very little support, no loyalty towards their employees. Ridiculous amount of paperwork where you spend two days of your five day work week pushing papers through rather than being in the field cultivating relationships and winning people over.

Pros

Decent pay and benefits for the area. Most floor supervisors are caring.

Cons

There is a huge turnover in salary employees. There has been a push towards lean manufacturing but changes only last a few weeks. There is no sustaining of any improvements. There is a distinct lack of consistency in the enforcing of HR policies.

Pros

The sites you work with across the country.

Cons

American Woodmark = American Holidays for time off lol. Management is horrid. They throw anyone into that role and think they can mold someone who doesn’t have any manager experience at all. Lack of discipline for management when they do something wrong or illegal. No real raises nor promotion. They promise you that when you’re hired but it’s a lie. No growth or opportunity at all. Complaints are not heard or taken seriously at all. Upper Management in VA are 100% disconnected from what goes on at the sites and they don’t care unless it affects them directly. Management is allowed to say derogatory remarks about women (ie the fat girl or they talk about people’s race). At times even racist. Lack of caring about employees They want you to work overtime for them when your on salary but god forbid you need some time off for personal issues to get that time back it will be used against you. No one truly cares. Benifits are a total joke they cover nothing at all.
