Hard Pass

Pros

Tools provided, vehicle and gas card, some independence in the field.

Cons

Exclusionary. Nepotistic. Greedy. Hypocritical. It appears Timberlake hired on an entire crew to serve an area knowing they planned on exiting that market within the year. This left five of us scrambling to figure out our futures during the holiday season. They gave us no indication upon being hired that this was the company plan. Completely disingenuous of the management and company.

After much consideration, a business decision was made to leave a certain market in which you are located. It is never American Woodmark's intention to leave their employees in an unpleasant situation. We do ask that you reach out to your local HR team for further discussion.

Good Employment

Pros

Training Program, bonus + salary, good network of co-workers, not micro-managed

Cons

Typical industry challenges with supply chain, pay is good but not great for the local area compared to other sales jobs. Can be overwhelming at times but will eventually slow down in cycles.

Pros

Good solid company. Good company values and priorities.

Cons

Benefits and salary. Not very competitive in this market. Rather let good talent leave than to try to keep them and hire an unknown entity typically for a higher salary. Disappointing.
