Personal touch, but really just a numbered worker

Pros

Decent benefits, some departments have it together. As long as you can talk a big game you don’t have to know much.

Cons

Lack of communication, get used to working with average level folks who think they’re the stuffincluding some of the officers. HR puts decisions on the manager to figure things out which leads to disparity between the departments.

Great health benefits/wellness program Multiple company-sponsored events/parties throughout the year Great work environment and culture Annual cost of living increases Twice-annual bonuses (typical amount about 2 weeks' pay) Tuition reimbursement Continuing education sponsored within company and with outside vendors (bonuses paid for completing courses in some cases) PTO and Paid Holidays

Cons

No option to work from home Strict dress code (not a con if you like business casual) Free coffee and tea is mediocre (but also free!) Promotions and career paths are touted, but can be difficult to actually realize

Cons

Pay and benefits are poor and getting progressively worse each year. Management takes away one benefit after another each year.
