Pros

Benefits are excellent. The non-management level coworkers are incredible as well.

Cons

My comments pertain to the corporate headquarters, and executive management and staff only. I have to say my direct supervisor and coworkers were incredible, and my criticisms are solely with executive staff and management. When I first started, it was awesome. I did feel that the department manager, now at another organization, at the time worked to cultivate a positive and accepting atmosphere. However, an AVP was going to take over our dept., and our department manager left. Things changed. I noticed that during Zoom meetings, stakeholders and middle-management all looked the same. Same race, same age, same expressed gender, same body type, same interests, etc. At one point, I learned that the AVP had conducted at least one conversation about his religion with an employee, and while I wasn't there, I was concerned about proselytizing. At one point, I casually "came out" as a non-Christian. Other incidents had made me concerned that non-Christians were not welcome in that department (under the new executive), and that there was an unspoken pressure to at least feign enthusiasm for Christian holidays that I do not celebrate and are, honestly, contrary to my religion. At this time or a little earlier, I became subject to some harassment, threats of retaliation if I reported the harassment and subsequent retaliation by two members of the executive staff and management. This included stalking by an executive-level employee that lasted for several days. I also realized that during my brief time there, I never met anyone who bore any obvious signs of being a non-Christian (clothing, hijab, etc.) of any other religion, anyone who felt comfortable talking openly about being in a same-sex relationship (as in, "My husband/wife/partner and I went to the movies this weekend.") I left quickly when the harassment made it clear my days were numbered, and even if I tried to fight for my job, the harassment would resume in another form. I also didn't like working for an executive who seemed to suffer from a severely restricted range of people whom he could tolerate working for him.
