Pros

Remote work allows you to apply and interview with other companies while you plot & plan your exit.

Cons

The organization feels unstructured and difficult to navigate. Expectations are often unclear, and processes lack consistency, which creates unnecessary chaos and inefficiency. Onboarding is two 30-minute HR calls leaves new hires without the context, tools, or clarity needed to be successful early on. Many roles appear to be “firefighter” or fix-it hires, with ambiguous scopes, unrealistic timelines, and a work culture that normalizes overwork. Success tends to rely heavily on institutional knowledge, meaning individuals with several years at the company are best positioned to thrive, while newer employees face a steep and unsupported learning curve. Leadership appears highly political, with limited demonstrated experience or success outside of navigating internal dynamics. This contributes to misaligned priorities and reactive decision-making.

Pros

I would NOT recommend working with Amplify Recruiting for you next employment opportunity. They are just like 99.9% of all recruiters..they won't get back to you. I worked with Nicole Eliason, a recruiter, she reached out to me and asked me a lot of questions and I answered all of them. She said she would get back to me within a week and 3 weeks later...still no response. It blows me how little integrity there is in the independent recruiting industry.

Cons

NO intergrity. Right up there with used car salesmen.

Pros

The training and pay at Amplify is great!

Cons

When they hire you for a PLS the excitement and energy is high and you feel like you are a part of a strong, cohesive unit. That doesn't last long. First, they don't tell you it may only be 5 hours a week. If you get hired for one or more programs the training is inconsistent, often internalizing vast amounts of information in a short amount of time, and then dinging you if you are honest and say it's a little too fast-paced. You are better off keeping your mouth closed. Some PLS I know were thrown to the wolves and given no support. Others were ignored altogether after only 1 or 2 trainings. YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY EXPENDABLE! When they want to get rid of you they tell you some BS story of budget cuts, COVID changes, or other "restructuring" drama instead of professionally expressing the concerns so you actually have an oppty to change or at least improve for the next job. The lies and the insincerity is probably the most disappointing (upper mgmt) because everyone else was so amazing to work with.
