      Pros

      Nice sense of teamwork and community. Many employees make careers here and that speaks for itself regarding employee satisfaction.

      Cons

      Some aspects of work functions are affected by the profitability of the company. This is not an internet start up and sometimes it shows.

      Job security, family oriented, some very good people...

      Cons

      Most of advancement opportunities, especially in the high up echelon are available through networking. Working hard does not achieve much. If you are into making money, look into private companies. Here the union or upper management are trying their best to slow you down.
