Pros

Best pay in the area, free travel (if you like the train), Union Support - most important!

Cons

Remembering 500 policies, and 20+ points to cover during a call. Kind of like "We'll, you DID just sell a $5,000 reservation, BUT... you didn't use the customer's last name during the call, so we have to mark you down for it." Company seems more interested in APPEARING professional than getting the job done.

Pros

Great Pay Great Benefits Good Management I have overall been very happy with my employment with Amtrak. It is a good stable job and the employees are well taken care of.

Cons

Depending on your location hours can be long with lots of potential for overtime
