Pros

Decent benefits and a generous PTO bank. Benefits began immediately, no waiting period.

Cons

Shockingly poor management teams. Don't call HR looking for help if you have a problem. They're rarely available and will always side with their managers. Office morale was in the gutter in Jacksonville.

Lack of job security. Management likes to pass the buck and throw people under the bus. Company treats staff as dispensible. Firing is commonplace.

AmWINS Group Benefits’ call center has experienced unprecedented growth in 2015. In an effort to meet the demands of this developing client base and accommodate the retirement of the call center’s director, we have made proactive changes to the structure and organization of the department, including hiring temporary employees for open enrollment. We believe that the modifications made to the call center’s structure will positively impact the way in which we conduct business.
