Pros

"Brand name" recognition, health and benefits, lifestyle if you so choose

Cons

I can't begin to express the deceit I felt six months into this job. Middle management are mostly undeserving of their positions, upper management are mostly Brazilian, and talented junior-inbetween people are either put at odds with each other, or so disgruntled that they don't feel like trying anymore. This is probably why they all leave before having a chance to be promoted to middle management. Don't expect to be listened to or promoted if you're not Brazilian, or at least of Latino descent. Otherwise, sacrifice personal and family and comfort for the opportunity to move ahead at this company. For the bonus levels here, not worth it. The company is always in cost-cutting mode and telling employees to treat the company's money as their own. This is not a startup folks, it's a corporation...one that lacks the benefits of other corporations and many startups.

Pros

Salary is competitive. Quick opportunities for advancement if you fit the company culture.

Cons

Absolutely no work-life balance; will have to cancel vacations as necessary to attend last-minute meetings. Brazilian management make all the decisions and don't include lower-level, non-Brazilian employees. Culture encourages cut-throat mentality and attitude internally and with vendors/agencies. Unless you enjoy treating people like they are numbers on a page, you'll be embarrassed to say you work here with your vendors/agencies.

It's A Brazilian Bank Not A Beer Company

Pros

Given the extremely high workload you will learn how to effectively manage every second of your day. It is true that they promote those who work hard, but that comes at an expense (See cons).

Cons

They use the "casual work environment" and "open office" to tout that everyone has a voice, but the reality is all the decisions are made at the top and everyone else is just a pawn to execute them. There is absolutely no pride in the products, it's amazing how this company has managed to take the fun out of beer. The workload is completely unrealistic but they keep trimming headcount - the culture dictates that you say "Yes" to everything, else consider your next promotion gone. Everyone is so stressed out that there is lots of fighting and tension between people who are supposed to be working together. If you have a life outside of work (Hobbies, Family, etc..) then you are seen as not "committed" to the business, be prepared to be on call 24/7/365. Being an American hampers your ability to move up, if you are not a Brazilian male who speaks Portuguese then your prospects are limited.
