I am happy to hear you are enjoying the company and the environment. We are constantly trying to create new and fun ways to enjoy our work on a daily basis. I would reach out to your Manager or your Senior Leader to discuss a career path for you at Ansira. If you need additional support for your career goals please reach out to Katie or Hilary in HR.

Pros

Gives you motivation to better yourself.

Cons

This place was a a horrible experience. First the pay is horrible but for an entry level job in advertising you can expect it, BUT they work you like a dog. The joke around the office is that it’s a sweat shot and a daycare. You get treated with zero respect by superiors, superiors who watch your every move and come down on you for taking a simple bathroom break. They also make you sign up on a board for lunch. It’s like in grade school when you had to pick the popsicle stick that said if you were buying or not. They constantly tell you changes are coming, they never do. They always tell you that they want to hear concerns and feedback and if you’re feeling burnt out (they literally work you like a dog), every time you have that conversation though they turn it around on you and nothing changes. The systems they use for work are going offline for sometimes hours almost weekly, where is the fix on the one system that runs your entire department. They also seem to care very little or even acknowledge the TPM department so that alone tells you they don’t care about changes or there employees. In order to see any promotion past an AR II you have to hope that things fell perfectly for you because management have been known to block people from advancing because teams are so understaffed that it’s not possible. Which is another isue, in the 10 months I worked there my team was understaffed by 4 people for 6 months and were never fully staffed in that time. When clients came in for another team they pulled people to fill the desk during that time. Overall management of horrible and they rely on graduating college students who are desperate.

We are working to improve the overtime, career path, and the employee experience in the TPM department. We are using results from a recent leadership survey we just completed to help each TPM Manager focus on areas they need to improve. We know an employee’s experience is most directly impacted by their manager, so we want to provide more focused training to help our managers be the best they can be. We are listening and we care greatly about the quality of life for people in this department as well as their future with Ansira.

Pros

There are some truly good people who work here. Payday popcorn and the Friday happy hours are nice, if you have the time to go to them. Getting time and a half pay for overtime on a salary is nice.

Cons

TPM, though it is the backbone of the company, is extremely underpaid and underappreciated. The turnover is incredibly high because management has created an environment in which any competent and hard-working employee gets burnt out and wants to leave almost immediately. There is required overtime nearly every week, and on certain teams 50 hours a week is standard. People who put in less effort are expected to do less, people who exceed expectations only ever get more responsibility piled on them with little to no recognition and never a pay increase. When you are in TPM, there is no room for growth. There is talk of "internal opportunities" every now and then but once an employee reaches Account Representative II they generally plateau. There is no education about what happens in other departments. You either become a team lead or eventually get out. Team leads on certain teams do their best, but upper management in the department is not good with communication and gives them very little freedom. When complaints are brought to them nothing gets done. Employees in TPM are often treated like children. We get graded, we have to take regular tests, and we are made to feel guilty if we are away from our desks during the day. I have personally gotten up to retrieve something from the printer and returned to an email in my inbox asking why I was not at my desk and logged into the phone lines.

Thank you for your review, we are listening and actively making changes in the TPM department. We recently completed an engagement survey, we are hyper-focused on the following areas: 1) Career Opportunities- we are in the process of redesigning how teams are structured and how people can be promoted. 2) Personal Development- we are hiring a full-time trainer to develop and deliver training that will help people grow in their current position and on to the next. 3) TPM Leadership - we are using results from a recent leadership survey we just completed to help each TPM manager focus on areas they need to improve. We know an employee’s experience is most directly impacted by their manager, so we want to provide more focused training to help our managers be the best they can be.
