Pros

Some of my coworkers were cool (definitely not all)

Cons

This company is the biggest disaster. I worked there for almost 3 years. In that time I was not offered a promotion until the day I turned in my two weeks. (What are the odds!) it was insulting. I spent the first two years working hard and none of that paid off. Since being at Ansira, I now have a positive work environment and not toxic, and wow it’s not hard to wake up every morning. I had rude managers who tried to own off their work onto lower level employees making absolutely no money. You cannot afford to live in the city you work in. Very high turnover rate as well, that should tell you a lot. Upon leaving, HR said there would be changes...based on everything I’ve heard that’s a lie. In all honesty, if I was paid more, I could’ve done multiple people’s jobs and gotten so much done, but they offer no motivation. Losing clients as quickly as employees, I’d consider that before working here.

Pros

Before covid and going fully remote it was the collaborative environment, the Friday Happy Hours, and the employee parties/events but those won’t exist ever again because they got rid of their Ansira in Action team who planned all those events. Also, I liked my team.

Cons

Unstable upper management team. They are constantly moving managers around and creating ‘new’ positions without any real direction. In the past two years, Ansira has had 4 different CEO’s..if that tells you anything. Clients are unhappy and leaving because Ansria sells them things that don’t exist or that are unobtainable. Client teams are unhappy because they are not given the resources to meet the client expectations and constantly feel like they are failing. Ansira is broke. They took away merit raises and stopped matching our 401Ks. They also highly discourage working overtime and they don’t payout any unused PTO. I can imagine it will be very hard to get a raise or a promotion or any other kind of monetary benefits from this company in the future. Zero transparency. Upper management will act blindly before thinking things through which then creates negative effects for the teams they oversee. Examples: Laying off people without thinking about who is going to do their job when they leave. This leads to my next con... They don’t backfill. If a member of your team leaves, guess who has to handle all that work now? You. And you’ll have to do it all within the 40 hour work week because they stopped paying out OT, or they highly discourage working OT, but still expect you to get your work done. You won’t get additional compensation for your additional work either. Also, you’ll get zero training on this new work. You are expected to just figure it out and then you better not mess up, because then they will dump you. If you are successful, you’ll receive zero recognition, instead they will reward you with more work. Everything is an immediate request. They expect you to be a robot and make all your accounts happy at the exact same time. It creates a very stressful environment. Upper management needs to understand that their teams are only human and that they are prioritizing tasks the best they can. To sum it all up, this is not a fun place to work. I learned some skills and made some friends but in the end Ansira did not set me up to succeed in my career. I would not recommend working here, and if you still work here, get out now, before they fire you.
