Pros

The company has Product-Market Fit. The product has amazing potential. Hired the right people for the job and most people were incredibly kind and hard workers.

Cons

CEO lacked strategic vision and pivoted road map constantly. A huge amount of focus was placed on busywork- while key decisions like budgets were impossible. No empowerment of employees and morale dipped. Strategic firings of senior leaders around cliffs makes this company difficult to believe in. There was a lack of transparency and a shift in values. CEO and most of the founders are very young and are hard to reason with. CEO and founders also suffered from founder syndrome- look it up. Heard CEO was replaced, but might be too little too late.

Pros

1. World class product. Even the 3 or less starred reviews mention how amazing the product is, so that says a lot 2. There's still a handful of talented hard-working individuals who joined Apollo early on and work as it's foundation. These A players are the keys to any business, not your B or C players 3. Learning from mistakes. All start ups make mistakes, and Apollo does try to avoid repeating those

Cons

1. It's a start up, and being a start up isn't necessarily a "con" or bad thing, but ups and downs come with the territory. You need to be resilient, and you need to learn how to focus your time and energy in improving matters vs. gossiping or complaining. If you've never worked at a company with less than 50 or 30 employees then I would recommend taking a good look at yourself to understand how much you're willing to give to a company before joining. Everyone focuses on unicorns, payouts, and rainbows, but every start up who "made" it had their fair share of ups and downs through the process. 2. Sometimes quick to question without having knowledge or taking the time to understand what's in question.

Pros

Nice office, nice coworkers (mostly)

Cons

Leadership. Took 8 months to get on top of employee harassment.
