Pros

Flexible (work at any time of the day as long as you work every day mo-fr), very individual, 22 dollars/hour as a web search evaluator, lots of opportunities for other temporary side projects.

Cons

Unpaid downtime is the biggest con as sometimes, if you're out of luck, it can happen more than 2 out of 4 weeks in a month, and emails about this to project managers don't get responded to; you just have to write tickets to tech support and wait until the client loads new work.

Pros

Legitimate company with efficient communication

Cons

Unrealistic goals, as a web search evaluator we were supposed to do 100 hits per hour, they were even asking us to do 110 per hour!! Which is preposterous, and if you do less than 80 per hour then that would count against you. RTA -Real Time Auditing is an insult to the injury. If you get your answers wrong for more than a couple of times...then you are kicked out without warning. Work is highly intensive requiring high concentration, most of the time frustating. The pay per hour is less then what employees deserve. Now lets look into their qualification test procedures...for web evaluators there is this Question Bank 1 test with 50 questions. This test is very hard to pass. They give you study materials which you should complete in 1 week. This is only possible if you intensively study 10 hours per day including weekends. Some of the answers are vague what you think is "Good" is "fair" for them or vice-versa. However if you managed to pass the first test you are eligible for second test called "News Freshness" which is even tougher. I guess the pass rate could be 2%. To top it up even if you are selected --- you can be kicked anytime and thrown into the bin even before your contract expires. The reason they make you sign the Non Disclosure Policy is that you cannot raise your voice against them when you are fired. As an ex-consultant my advice to you all would be ----This is not worth it . Get a day job, you will be much happier.
