      Good for a High School or College Job

      Pros

      Ability to make more money than other College or High School job options. Co-workers were very nice and everyone got along for the most part.

      Cons

      Almost impossible to get a promotion. Server wage is poor. $3.15/hr is not adequate for living on if you have a series of slow shifts. Managers need to know when to cut servers and not keep too many people on the floor. Mangers need to trust employees to do their jobs. Managers need to know to stay out of the way during a rush and stop trying to do other peoples jobs for them because they get in the way.

      Pros

      There are many different shifts and many different positions within applebees. This allows for pretty flexible hours and the ability to be able to trade shifts when you need time off.

      Cons

      If you are looking to make a career out of it, there aren't many options other than moving up to management. Management has to work really long hours.

      Hours/Schedule Customer service is challenging Job satisfaction can vary widely depending on location and/or franchise
