Pros

Interesting work tackling climate change. Smart and passionate colleagues.

Cons

3 rounds of layoffs in less than a year. If there is someone in India who can do your job for cheaper, don't expect any job security - despite what management will tell you. Benefits and compensation are not competitive. No 401k match, cost of living increase or education/development stipend. Leadership is unorganized and keeps changing their priorities. It felt like every other month there was some sort of company restructuring.

Positive but unstable

Pros

Remote work, great compensation, flexible PTO, great people Being at a climate tech company was really rewarding

Cons

Not stable. Consistent layoffs every 6 months. Teams got outsourced to India to cut costs there's very little consideration for the people getting laid off. I had no opportunity to switch roles internally. My team was just kicked out one day without warning.
