They’ll give you a chance

Pros

They take risks on people. You’re more than just a piece of paper with a degree attached to it. It’s more cut and dry than “he has more experience than her so let’s go with that pick.” You have to be a good fit for the culture. Degrees and accolades help I’m sure, but the management here understand that they’re hiring people and not just pieces of paper.

Cons

It’s not easy to move up. It’s not impossible, just not easy

Pros

Let me start by saying that I left ArdentMC on good terms. It was sad to say goodbye to my colleagues but it was just my time to go. I felt like I had stagnated. Don’t get me wrong. Ardent is a good company with a lot to offer developers. It’s just that I pretty much learned everything I could and I was ready for something more challenging. That said if you’re looking for a company with excellent development teams and an awesome CEO look no further.

Cons

Depending on the project, you work until the job gets done. That means some days are longer than others.

Pros

I get that everyone has opinions about their work experiences, but I just don’t get the reviews that say that ArdentMC has zero pros. How about the amazing staff? The competitive compensation? The professional development opportunities? The fact that management listen to employee feedback? I guess when you’re looking for negativity that’s all you’re going to see.

Cons

Management could communicate better when they make important company wide decisions.
