Friendly staff, nice new facility at Papago Park.

Cons

Salary and benefits are not as good as MCACC. Feels like Upper management/Directors/HR doesn't seem to care about the staff or retention. Very difficult to effect change and improvement. Many people are stuck in their ways. It felt like Managemeny/Directors implemented student teaching without any significant discussion with employees - no additional compensation for increased work and responsibilities that was not in original job description.

Getting the animals adopted. Helping the animals before finding their forever homes. Feeling like you’re helping the community.

Cons

Compassion fatigue. Coworkers that think it’s just fun and games but is actually very hard work. Long hours on feet constantly cleaning.
