A company in crisis

Pros

Smart, friendly coworkers. Decent compensation (stock price decline aside). Still a reasonable brand for your resume.

Cons

The culture is one of undirected urgency. Everything is a priority, everything needs to be done tomorrow, and it’s all directed from the top down. There is little positive recognition, and even that is couched with a “but” in some way. The end result is an environment of stress and burnout. Attrition is high, leaving more work on the people who remain, and yet there’s no acknowledgment that maybe the current pace and environment isn’t working well. This is all exasperated by shifting priorities, leadership turnover, reorgs, and moving deadlines.

Pros

Used to have a good work culture and good WLB before the new CEO joined

Cons

New management is completely directionless and no longer takes a data-driven approach, just whatever the C-suite wants. Relentlessly and quietly laying off staff across offices because the company is struggling Morale is terrible because of layoffs and their retention struggles; employees are dropping like flies.
