Ascend has a very competitive pay rate, and awards their employees with a low cost comprehensive health care program. They are committed to safety, and prove this by pointing out even the smallest safety hazards.
Cons
They require that you work a minimum of 12 hours shifts at a time on a swing shift schedule. This means that you work 12 hours on, 12 hours off for however many days your shift is designated that week. In the end, you work every possible shift in a month, and Ascend runs 24 hours a day 365 days a year. It leaves little time for family or basic life activities.
