Pros

pretty young company and decent opportunities for advancement

Cons

middle management cares way more about how they look to the executive team than about the employees they manage. i worked in multiple different departments and still observed the same flaws throughout all of them. absolutely awful training and very unprofessional management. for the sake of your mental health, do NOT work here. this company truly ruined my life and my outlook and corporate finance

Initially Good, Downhill Decline

Pros

Decent Benefits,401k, Time Off, Great for an initial job with minimal advancement. Semi - relaxed environment. 10th floor was a more professional setting than the call center below. System stability was great. Most people were professional and pleasant to work with.

Cons

Management became slightly chaotic. Upper Management was difficult to work with and role clarity became unclear. People delegated because they did not know and went in circles. Empty promises and too many overlapping middle managers. Office Space mentality. No upward advancement unless you're in the inner circle. Noticed a surge in outsourcing jobs to Mexico and soon to be India/Russia. Can't keep in-house American jobs? People seemed on a miserable grind on the 9th floor. IT/Product/Dev Reorganization performed which created super increased workload with no immediate back filling. Underpaid from the norm of Linkedin/Glassdoor and SF/Bay Area regions for similar jobs.

Pros

Couldn't have asked for a better manager and team mates. Was lucky to work with friendly and supportive team, which makes job easier and more fun. Have good benefits.

Cons

There are few grumpy people who are not easy to work with and some self proclaimed leaders who have been there since the company forever. Being a small company, carrier growth is limited unless they create an internal job title. Recently, they got bought by an international company. When this news came out, company assured that it was a good thing for the company, we will get more money to invest in our infrastructure, no one will loose their job ... bla bla bla bla and more bla. And when the deal was recently finalized, resources had to be cut and relocated. That was the nice way of telling me I was being laid off.
