Pros

- Great people - Company does care about their employees - Company is growing - Opportunities for advancement are there however you have to want it and you have to be proactive about going after it. - Competent Sr. Leadership that does listen and act

Cons

These are not cons but ideas for anyone looking to work here. 1. You need to be up for a challenge. There will be a learning curve at first but do not waste your time if you are not persistent 2. Be open to understanding that management is making decisions that are for the best interest of our clients, employees and the firm. There is not anyone sitting in an office wondering how they can hurt someone 3. In regards to employee development. Do not wait around for a promotion reach out and ask for it. If your manager gives you feedback on what you need to do, then do it.

Pros

Beautiful new office building Peon level peers are great co-workers Fair amount of PTO Free drinks in the break room

Cons

The long-time president of this recently acquired division can act like a petulant child when he doesn't get what he wants rather than addressing an issue with poise and dignity. Several members of management hold their positions only because they have been there for decades and hold information hostage on how, exactly, to do the job they do.

Pros

I worked for Genworth, which is now known as AssetMark. Although Genworth was acquired, the core team is still intact from my Genworth days. What this means is that you have a core team of leaders that truly care about each individual they lead. Yes, the hours were often long, but they were just as often enjoyable because of the New Business Team "family" that worked together to get the job done. The Client Experience (CE) process, lead by one of the best leaders around, is a huge part of the reason clients stay.

Cons

Meetings to have meetings, which was not an effective use of time. Employee mobility was difficult. They become so great at what they do, that it's hard to move them without impact to the process they know.
