Pros

Decent compensation and benefits package Brand recognition in the financial services industry Talented colleagues who genuinely care

Cons

Toxic work environment: The marketing department is plagued by internal politics, poor communication, and a lack of psychological safety. Unrealistic deadlines: Projects are often under-scoped and over-promised, leaving employees scrambling to meet last-minute demands. Poor leadership: There is little accountability from management, and feedback is not welcomed unless it aligns with leadership’s narrative. Favoritism: Opportunities for advancement or recognition often come down to personal connections rather than merit. Bait-and-switch roles: The job you are hired for is rarely the job you end up doing. Expect your responsibilities to shift without notice or support. Long hours, low respect: Work-life balance is more of a tagline than a reality. Burnout is common, and contributions often go unnoticed.

Pros

Benefits are pretty good but the overall job sucks

Cons

The actual call center is a hard job, hard to move laterally/ up in company if you do one bad call.
